CLUBS

  
     
 

       First English Language School offers plenty of room for development of its students’ talents. The school clubs, most of which are organized and headed by students, reflect the versatility and initiative of the students. Everyone who has an idea is free to realize it in the school.

  
     
  We are proud of:  
 

  • The Debating Club — very attractive and useful for all who want to develop their public speaking and communication skills. The club usually wins the top awards in national and international competitions.

  
     

  • Interact club — part of the prestigious Rotary club. Interact club at First English Language School takes part in projects in service to the school and the society.

  
     

  • HabiHeart club — founded at the ‘Habitat for humanity foundation’ Sofia. The participants in this club voluntarily take part in the building process of homes for people in need in the local office of the foundation as well as in the acceptance of international voluntary teams working on their own projects.

  
     

  • Journalists’ club ‘Green tomato’ — everyone who wants to learn more about the working in a team and in journalism. It issues the school newspaper, which is also called ‘Green tomato’.

  
     
 

  • UN club — associated with the UN mission in Bulgaria. The club has different initiatives and conducts simulative games — sessions of the UN and other international organizations.

  
 

  • Model European parliament club — since 2000 the school has taken part in the sessions in Greece, Luxemburg, Slovenia, Poland and Lithuania.

  
 

  • Club for European integration ‘EuroFELS’ — for those who are eager to know about the future of Bulgaria and to learn more about the EU and to take part in projects, financed by the EU.

 
 

  • 2 year course in tourism — after the completion of this course the students receive a certificate for guides and wide varieties for further development in this sphere.

  
 

  • Choir and vocal group — the angel voices of First English Language School.

  
 

  • Brass band — typical for the school — open for everyone who wants to be part of the world of music.

  
 

  • Cheerleaders — the beautiful face of First English Language School.

  
 

  • Folklore ensemble — founded in 2004. It has won many festival awards. The ensemble is trained by professional choreographers. It is one of the most popular clubs in the school.
